What we do

PATA Finland Chapter has three target groups we work for:

  • Corporate and Associate members in Finland
  • Personal members in Finland ( the staff of the above)
  • Suppliers from Asia Pacific countries not based in Finland

PATA Finland Chapter's main activities are:

  • Training and seminars on Asia Pacific and related topics
  • Workshops and trade appointments with visiting sellers from PATA countries
  • Out-of-town Road Shows
  • PATA Village and Workshop during the Finnish Travel Trade Fair, MATKA
  • Country reports and educational tours
  • Grants for individual study tours
  • Support to Amboi School in Papua New Guinea

In addition we have published a keyboard calendar, supported the Amboi School in Papua New Guinea; we were involved in the PATA Village during the Matka Trade Fair. We have updated and maintained our website as well as sent out information and bulletins on various subjects to all of our target groups.

The Executive Committee has met monthly. The ExCo has also had numerous sub-committee/adhoc and emergency meetings: IT-committee, Fun-committee, membership fees and -register updates, briefings for the Fam Trip participants and briefing and assistance to visiting suppliers.

The Advisory Council is not active at the moment.
