PATA Finland Chapter invites all travel trade professionals to an open Seminar and Panel Discussion at the MATKA Nordic Travel Fair on Friday, 20 January 2017 at 13.00 – 16.00 hrs in the MATKA Studio, Hall 1, Messukeskus – Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre

Ms Halona Padiachy, Director – International Partnerships, Membership & Chapter Relations at Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in Bangkok. Halona is responsible for liaising with the public and private tourism sectors and industry development within Asia.

Ms Helena Egan, Global Director of Industry Relations at TripAdvisor. She leads industry relations’ efforts for TripAdvisor, acting as a liaison for the global hospitality, trade associations and government organisations, building awareness about the benefits, resources, policies, products and services of TripAdvisor.

Mr Juha Järvinen, Chief Commercial Officer and Finnair Executive Board member. He is responsible for Finnair Group Revenue and Commercial units for Network Planning, Global Sales, Brand Experience, Marketing, Customer Loyalty, Revenue Management, Pricing, eCommerce, Merchandizing, Distribution, Alliances & Partnerships, Commercial Analytics, as well as Market Access & Aeropolitics,

Ms Minna Tuorila, Managing Director at Primera Holidays Ltd/Matka-Vekka and Lomamatkat. Minna´s background is in travel agency business, previously in corporate travel world and now for the past four years purely in leisure travel world. Since 2015 she has been leading one of the biggest leisure travel agencies in Finland and turned it into tour operator. She also manages the web shop for FIT travellers for stopovers in Finland, www.finlandtours.fi, designed for Asian travellers to experience Finland.

Mr Andrew Jones, Chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association and Guardian of Sanctuary Resorts. Apart from his duties associated with PATA he is also a leading advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility and Wellness in Tourism and is a knowledgeable Keynote Speaker, Moderator and Panelist on matters of Responsible and Sustainable Tourism at many Hotel, Environment and Social Enterprise Forums and Conferences as well as at Universities and Vocational Schools.
